NOAM All Day Restaurant

One identity for every moment of the day.

The need

An all-day experience needs an identity that connects morning coffee, dining and evening cocktails. NOAM’s design direction brings warmth and quiet elegance together, with the same character across every application.

The idea

Designing NOAM meant finding the balance between day and night, ease and elegance, familiarity and distinction. The identity is built on quiet confidence: a refined typographic logo, deep tones, warm metallic details and a visual language that feels contemporary without becoming temporary. Designed to move naturally with the brand, across signage, menus, print and digital touchpoints.

The applications

A brand is experienced long before it is explained. For NOAM, every touchpoint was designed as part of the same story: exterior signage, business cards, digital assets, and a complete family of Food, Breakfast, Drinks and Take Away menus. Different formats. One consistent feeling, calm, contemporary, warm and quietly premium. From the first coffee to the last cocktail, every detail was created to belong to the moment.

The outcome

A coherent visual identity system built around shared typography, a consistent colour palette and distinctive design details. Signage, menus, print and digital applications come together in one recognisable image for every moment of the day.

NOAM. Memories to Keep. One identity. Many moments.

IN THEIR OWN WORDS

“At NOAM, it helped us a great deal that Alexandros wanted us to first discuss the experience we wanted to offer and the character the space would have. The collaboration involved an exchange of ideas and a clear direction. From the name to the identity, signage and menu, we felt that the individual elements belonged to the same story. We value his interest in the venture and his approachability.”

DESIGN DECISIONS IN USE

From the first impression to everyday use.

The logo and menu presentation show the same restaurant identity in two different roles: introducing the name and supporting the dining experience.

Gold NOAM logo and symbol on textured paper

The name and symbol together

The gold logo on textured paper presents the name and illustrated symbol as one composition. It establishes a visual starting point for the other applications.

The identity becomes a menu

The food-menu presentation carries the NOAM identity into an object used during the restaurant experience. The name, graphic treatment and layout can be read alongside the logo application.

FROM DECISION TO APPLICATION

One restaurant. Several moments. A shared identity.

NOAM’s identity had to belong to breakfast, dining and evening drinks. The project connects those occasions through a common visual language, rather than treating each application as a separate design.

How do different occasions stay connected?

The refined wordmark, deep colours and warm metallic details establish the same character from the first coffee to the last cocktail.

The logo and exterior signage introduce the identity; the printed and digital applications continue it.

How does the identity work in everyday service?

Food, Breakfast, Drinks and Take Away menus form one family of applications. Each format belongs to the same restaurant while serving its own occasion.

The food-menu presentation shows the identity on an object guests use during their visit.

What is the practical result?

Naming, identity, signage, business cards, menus and digital assets follow one direction. The work gives the restaurant a recognisable set of applications across its daily operation.

The project gallery and design examples document the visual system. Nikos Darivas’s account of the collaboration appears alongside the project story.

Project scope: Brand strategy and naming; logo and visual identity; environmental graphics; menus and digital assets.
