Hello / Services

Branding & RebrandingClear direction.
A coherent identity.

Starting something new, or finding that your current identity no longer feels like you? We help you find the direction, name and visual identity that fit your business and where you want to take it.

When it makes sense

A new beginning or the next chapter?

If you are deciding where to start, read what branding is and where to invest first: branding or marketing.

You are starting a business.

You need a clear place in the market (positioning), a name and an identity that express your idea from the beginning and work across the channels you plan to use.

Your business has evolved.

Your audience, services or direction have changed. We examine what deserves to stay and what needs to evolve, so the identity reflects the business as it is today.

Your communication has lost its consistency.

Your logo, print, space and website seem to belong to different brands. We organise a shared system that brings coherence to everyday applications.

What we deliver

Practical tools.
A clearly defined scope.

The scope of our collaboration responds to your needs. The areas below describe potential deliverables, which are defined in detail in the project proposal.

Strategic foundation

A summary of research and the existing brand audit, audience definition, positioning, value proposition and central idea. An agreed foundation for the design decisions that follow.

Naming & verbal direction

Where a new name is needed: naming proposals with a rationale linked to the strategy. Depending on the scope, we develop a short phrase that expresses the brand idea (a tagline), key messages and guidance on how the brand speaks (tone of voice).

Visual identity system

The logo and its variations, colour palette, typography and core graphic language. The system is presented through selected applications so it can be assessed as a whole.

Agreed brand applications

Design of the applications you need: corporate print, packaging, menus, signage, environmental graphics or digital material. Each application and its technical requirements are defined before we begin.

Guidelines & final files

Brand guidelines covering the logo, colour and typography. Organised logo files for print and screens, together with the final artwork for the agreed applications.

Before we begin: we agree on the deliverables, applications, stages, revision rounds and schedule. Naming, print production, signage fabrication and website development are included in the proposal when they form part of the scope.

How we collaborate

Five stages.
Shared decisions at every step.

  1. Understand the need.

We discuss the business, audience, objectives and practical constraints. For a rebrand, we also review the material you already use.Deliverable: a shared outline of your goals and needs (the brief), together with the agreed project scope.

  2. Define the direction.

We establish the strategic foundation and brand positioning. We agree on the idea the identity will express before moving into design.Deliverable: strategic direction and key messages.

  3. Design the identity.

We present the creative proposal with its rationale and example applications. We bring feedback together and develop the agreed direction.Deliverable: an approved visual identity system.

  4. Apply the brand.

We develop the selected applications and check the consistency of the system across different scales, surfaces and touchpoints.Deliverable: approved applications and specifications.

  5. Hand over & plan the next steps.

We bring together the final files and usage guidance. For a rebrand, we agree on the sequence for moving from the existing material to the new identity.Deliverable: an organised file package and brand guidelines.

Before we begin

A few useful first answers.

Does rebranding mean changing everything?

We begin by examining what already works. The need may be repositioning, a logo refresh or a better organised identity. The extent of the change follows the objective and the value of the existing brand elements.

Does the name need to change?

A new name is considered when the current name limits the brand’s direction or when a new business is starting. If the existing name continues to serve the objective, it can stay.

How is the investment defined?

Research depth, naming, the number of applications and the extent of the guidelines shape the scope. Before starting, the proposal identifies the deliverables and revision rounds, and clarifies any production, photography, copywriting, licences or website development involved. If you have a budget range, share it so we can discuss a realistic scope.

How do we agree a realistic timeline?

We define milestones for the brief, strategy, identity, applications and handover. Timing depends on scope, the availability of existing material and the time needed for feedback and approvals. Tell us about an opening date or other fixed deadline in the first conversation.

Can we discuss delivery in phases?

Where it fits the project, we can define an initial phase around the essential identity and launch applications, then scope further needs separately. Each phase has agreed deliverables and approvals.

What do you need for the first conversation?

A few words about your business, your objective and your preferred timing. If you have an existing brand, the website and examples of current communication are helpful. You do not need a finished brief.

IN THEIR OWN WORDS

“We had a meaningful dialogue with Alexandros about how we wanted Arian Maritime’s image to evolve. He respected what we had already built and helped us see what could change. We appreciated that he explained his proposals and paid attention to the practical applications of the identity. Consistency and personal contact are qualities we value from our collaboration.”

Let’s make the plan clear from the start.

Before we begin, we talk through what you need, how we’ll work together and what you’ll receive. Our proposal brings those decisions together so you know what your project includes and how we’ll move forward.

Final files & guidance

We explain which files and guidance you’ll receive and how to use them. The proposal lists the logo versions, print artwork, digital assets or website handover included, along with file formats and any editable source files.

Revisions & approvals

We agree when we’ll review the work together and how many rounds of changes are included. If a new need comes up, or an approved direction changes, we discuss the effect on the work, cost and schedule before going ahead.

What we’ll need from you

We let you know which copy, photographs, existing files or technical details will help. We also agree who brings feedback together, who gives final approval and when we’ll need the material.

Licences & ongoing support

We talk through any font, image or third-party licences and who handles production. The proposal also makes clear what support is included after handover. Website updates and new applications can be agreed separately.

A few thoughts for our first conversation.

A short brief to help you talk with your team about what you want to achieve, who you want to reach and what you need. Note what you know. You don’t need to have everything worked out, and the budget range is optional.
