Branding for Architecture Practices

Let the work lead.
Give your practice a clear identity.

Your work has its own point of view. We help you carry it into the way you present your practice and projects, through naming, identity, print and a website that feel like you.

An identity with room for the architecture.

The identity should express the practice while letting its projects speak. We start with your approach, audiences and body of work, then connect the mark, typography and presentation across the formats you need. Labarch, ASPA Design and MAMAproject show distinct answers to that brief.

THE SCOPE

Your needs.
Defined applications.

Position & naming

Clarify the practice’s character, audience and direction. Naming, verbal identity or a refresh of an established name can be included when required.

Logo & identity system

A mark, typography, colour palette and graphic language connected to your approach, with agreed versions and rules for consistent use.

Project presentations & print

Business cards, stationery, practice profiles and project presentation material as scoped. We agree the formats, content and number of templates or applications.

Portfolio website

Structure and design that organise your projects and practice information. Templates, languages, credits, content entry and development are specified in the proposal.

Applications in the space

Office signage and other agreed spatial applications that continue the identity into the physical practice. Technical and production responsibilities are clarified before artwork is completed.

We define the presentation formats, source material and approval stages together. Project photographs, descriptions and collaborator credits are agreed before they are used. Copywriting, translation, photography and ongoing website support are scoped explicitly.

IN THEIR OWN WORDS

“What we appreciated about working with Alexandros and Hellodesign was his interest in understanding how we think and work at Labarch. From the logo and visual identity to the website, we found a shared language that connects with our architectural approach and gives the projects themselves room to stand out. We value the attention to detail, the meaningful exchange of ideas and the personal communication.”

Let’s make the plan clear from the start.

Before we begin, we talk through what you need, how we’ll work together and what you’ll receive. Our proposal brings those decisions together so you know what your project includes and how we’ll move forward.

Final files & guidance

We explain which files and guidance you’ll receive and how to use them. The proposal lists the logo versions, print artwork, digital assets or website handover included, along with file formats and any editable source files.

Revisions & approvals

We agree when we’ll review the work together and how many rounds of changes are included. If a new need comes up, or an approved direction changes, we discuss the effect on the work, cost and schedule before going ahead.

What we’ll need from you

We let you know which copy, photographs, existing files or technical details will help. We also agree who brings feedback together, who gives final approval and when we’ll need the material.

Licences & ongoing support

We talk through any font, image or third-party licences and who handles production. The proposal also makes clear what support is included after handover. Website updates and new applications can be agreed separately.

Before we begin.

Can you keep the identity while redesigning the website?

Yes. We review the existing identity and portfolio, then define what the website needs to retain and what needs to change. An identity redesign is scoped separately when required.

How are project photographs and credits handled?

We agree the images, project descriptions and collaborator credits used in each presentation. Your approved source material forms the basis of the content and image selection.

Can the work include presentation templates?

Yes. The brief can include agreed project or practice presentation formats. The proposal identifies which templates, page types and final file formats are included.

What do you need to prepare a proposal?

Share your current identity and website, a representative selection of projects, the audiences you want to reach, the presentation formats you need and any target date.

Let’s talk about your idea.

Show us a few projects that feel true to your practice, and tell us what you’d like to improve in the way you present it. That gives us a place to start.

A few thoughts for our first conversation.

A short brief to help you talk with your team about what you want to achieve, who you want to reach and what you need. Note what you know. You don’t need to have everything worked out, and the budget range is optional.
